The process of an airbrush takes up to 20 minutes in studio and up to 30 minutes when done in the comfort of your home or hotel. (This includes set up and clean up)
You can wear what you’re comfortable in. Whatever you wear during your session takes up that shape. You can wear a bikini or we can provide disposables.
Dark, loose fitting clothing is recommended so your tan can stay in place. Anything too tight can cause streaks.
ADHA (dihydroxyacetone) is the active ingredient in all sunless tanning products. DHA reacts with the protein found in the outermost layer of your skin producing the brown color. DHA is a carbohydrate compound approved by the FDA for external tanning solutions. It is derived from vegetable sources such as beets and sugar cane.
We use the best solutions that give off the most natural looking tans. No orange here.
It is best to get your airbrush tan 1-2 days before your event or vacation
Tans last up to a week or longer. Factors such as skin type, activities and maintenance may cause results to vary for each individual.
Saltwater and chlorine can cause your tan to fade faster.
Yes, you may sunbathe over your spray tan. It is important to use a lotion with SPF. Spray tan solutions do not contain SPF so you must apply it if tanning out in the sun. Aerosol sprays are not recommended as they do lighten the tan faster.
You must speak to your OBGYN about this as we cannot give out medical advice. We do tan expecting women all the time.
As your spray tan fades some have mentioned their skin has a slightly scaly appearance, others describe blotchy or patchy looking skin. Your skin exfoliates at an uneven rate which may contribute to this appearance. That is why we can’t stress enough the importance of moisturizing twice daily. Moisturizing daily with a high quality, oil-free product will not only help your tan last longer but it’s also a very important step in helping your tan to fade evenly.
Spray tanning is our business, not a side business and your appointment time has been slotted just for you. Life happens and there are occasions when you may need to cancel. We require a 48 hour cancellation prior to your scheduled session. If you cancel your appointment in less than 48 hours, your deposit will be forfeited.
